Your Guide to a Perfect Night Out

Going out, whether that be to a bar or the club, always sounds great in theory — but in practice? We’ve realized there’s a lot more to think about when it comes to optimizing your prep. Here’s a quick checklist of reminders as you get ready:

Pre-Game Prep:

  • Eat before drinking (our favourites: ramen, plain bread - remember, carbs are your best friend!)

  • Hydrate (at least one glass of water, please)

  • Charge your phone 

  • ID, wallet, keys (if you forget anything, you CANNOT forget these)

  • Digi camera if you want to take pics (prepare for the “can you send me the pics???” texts by 9am)

At the function:

  • Watch your drink (keep it with you at all times)

  • Go with friends or in pairs

  • Don’t mix drinks or other substances together

  • Have fun!!

Post-club musts:

  • Food run (we love a good Osmows, Pizza Pizza, and/or Popeyes)

  • Drink more water 

  • Recount the night and all the funny stories that’ll make it to your group chat

  • SLEEP

Bonus Tips:

  • If it’s below –10°C, just bring the jacket – freezing to death and sobering up in line is not the move

  • Group photos before > during and after

All in all, any night out ends with fun memories even if it may not go according to plan. But we hope this list serves you well and removes some stress as you prepare for Halloweekend. Stay safe and have fun guys!
